The pirate story
Max developed a passion for content and content distribution at an early age, which led him straight into the world of online marketing. As a schoolboy, he recognized the opportunities that the internet had to offer. The first step in this direction came with the internet connection in his childhood bedroom, when social media platforms such as Lokalisten were still popular. At that time, he was intensively involved with Facebook and developed a keen interest in how the platform worked and its potential.
In 2012, straight after graduating from high school, Max started out as a freelancer in event promotion and advised his first clients on social media during his studies at LMU Munich. It was a time when social media was still considered a trend, but Max saw the potential to make more of it. For him, starting his career was a mixture of experimenting, learning and making connections.
In 2015, Max founded a small social media UG with just 600 euros to put his first ideas into practice. But life as a founder was not easy at first. He was juggling his studies and a job as a bartender, which meant that the social media agency did not initially receive the attention it deserved.
In the end, Max decided to finish his studies of “breadless art” – much to the astonishment of his parents, who had urged him to get a solid education. However, life as a father, which he embarked on at the age of 26, showed him how important it was to take a stable professional path. So in 2019, he dedicated himself fully to his company. This was not only a professional decision, but also a personal one, as he now had responsibility for his family and needed a clear direction for the future.
What began as a one-man operation is now a dynamic company with over 40 dedicated employees. Pirates World, the company behind Max, is proud of its family structure and follows the philosophy of lean management. Since 2021, Max has also founded a performance marketing agency to help the agency grow even further.
Through this unique journey, from humble beginnings to a successful company with a clear vision, Max shows how a mix of passion, commitment and strategic decision can lead to success.

Respect plays an important role on the pirate ship. Respect for the strengths and weaknesses of individual people and respect for the opinions of others. We constantly reflect on our ideas, and not just over a cup of coffee.
Learning ability
Anyone who claims to be an expert is lying and simply making themselves look bigger than they are! As we all know, you never stop learning in life! Of course, we have all the certificates and years of experience. But our ability to learn and our drive to improve is what makes us pirates!

We have grown up with constant change and technical progress. We are always looking ahead and our thirst for knowledge and innovation is constantly driving us forward as an agency. Standing still is falling behind!
