- Regularity: Social media thrives on a certain regularity! However, the content naturally plays a role here. Keyword: UNIQUE CONTENT! Easier said than done, of course! Nevertheless: try to achieve a certain frequency in your postings. But don’t share the same content on all channels at the same time.
- Posting time: When are your fans online? Which content fits at which time. Social media thrives on diversity. Offer your fans added value. Easier said than done! To find out the perfect posting time, do some A/B testing.
- The right content: Make sure you present your content correctly! Photo postings with a shortened link are not always ideal. What is your goal? There are different types of posts.
- Videos: Among other things, Facebook looks at how many interactions a video triggers, whether the user turns on the sound, whether it switches to full screen, whether it is a live video and also what percentage of the video is viewed by the user. In the past, long videos were disadvantaged in this evaluation. Facebook changed this in January 2017 and longer videos that are also viewed will receive more reach in the newsfeed in future.
